How does sentence look to you? Are there too many commas and buts? Could you help me improve it?
Noel heard a noise in her bedroom, but wasn’t quite sure, aroused, but still groggy and disoriented from the wine.
I’ve read the first 4 answers and I’d like to thank you all for your suggestions.

It seems unfinished. Yes there are too many commas. I’d put a period after “sure”, and then start the next sentence with “Aroused, but still groggy and disoriented from the wine, she fumbled for the light switch” or something like that. Good luck!

A plain “aroused” means “sexually aroused”, but that might just be me. In any event, it’s out of place.

The jumble and choppiness can be made to work to your advantage if you put Noel in her bedroom before you start: “A noise … not quite sure … still groggy … the wine.”

We have to reconstruct it a bit. Aroused is in the wrong place nor do I like it in this sentence, and the sentence needs to be ‘finished.’

I saw beady eye live at reading festival 2011, and they were great.

I think Liam is better without Noel but Noel is no one without friends. In my opinion Noel should apologize to Liam, but I doubt his ego will let him. Listen to Noel’s new stuff, is just no good. Beady eye are ok in my book.
